Hello! I'm Wendy and I have owned dogs for the past 17 years. I have the complete joy to have Sid, my gorgeous whippet/lurcher/saluki cross, who is five, and loves nothing more than having fun with his friends, both human and four-legged, gambolling around on walks, playdates at home or having friends for sleepovers. Over the past few years my wish to spend more quality time with Sid grew to such an extent I decided to move from the city centre to a home with outside space. After a varied career and having travelled far and wide Sid and I are now based on the South Downs at Woodingdean, which has a wealth of lovely walks with enviable, uninterrupted views of the south coast and the sea. This move has enabled me to realise my dream of looking after our four-legged friends full time, providing fun, companionship and exercise for all of us, on a daily basis. Sid thinks it’s Christmas every day…… and so do I to be honest, I just wish I’d done this sooner! As dog owners we know how vital it is to be sure our pets are in safe hands when they’re away from us, and for me it's about the 'home from home’ experience. Without this assurance it’s difficult to relax and enjoy ourselves, isn’t it? My home is pet-safe and comfortable, with secure outside spaces to be enjoyed when we are not out walking, and we’re just metres away from the South Downs. At Wendy’s Walk & Board you can rest assured that your dog will be loved and looked after as though they were in their own home and will doubtless want to return!
